Engr. Abdur-Raheem Olasupo Lawal

Engr. Lawal was born in April 1956 in Omu-Aran, Kwara State. He attended All Saints Anglican School, Dagbaja in the old Western State and Saint Paul Primary School, Omu-Aran. He later went to Government Technical College, Pategi. He proceeded to Kwara State College of Technology,  now Kwara State Polytechnic, Ilorin from where he obtained his HND in Electrical (Power) Engineering. He obtained his PGD in Electrical engineering from The Federal University of Technology, Akure in 1999. Engr. Lawal attended the prestigious Heriot Watt University, Edinburgh, UK for his MSc degree in Energy. He also holds an MBA degree of University of Ado-Ekiti, Nigeria. He joined Kwara State Polytechnic in 1992 after a decade of professional work at Ajaokuta Steel Company Limited. While at Ajaokuta, he was trained in the former USSR as a thermal power station engineer.
