Dr. Martha Olufemi Olasehinde, a former Deputy Rector in Kwara State Polytechnic, Ilorin has been described as an exemplary personality who worth to be emulated by all Staff of the Polytechnic in order to excel in life.

The Rector, Alhaji Mas’ud Elelu stated this at the send off ceremony for Dr (Mrs) Olasehinde organised by the Institute of General Studies (IGS).

Elelu described the former Deputy Rector Administration as a bundle of humility, dedication, gentility and exemplary personality worthy to be emulated by all staff.

He urged other staff to borrow a leaf from her exemplary leadership.

In their remarks, the Directors of Consultancy services and Centre for Continuing Education, Messrs Olubunmi Ajibade and Habeebah Nike Adam described the celebrant as a woman of many parts; a mother, role model and a mentor who worked with people of many background with any bias.

Also, Mrs Olayinka Faderera Oyewole noted that people like Dr. Olasehinde are very hard to come by.

She said that Dr. Olasehinde remained a leading light for all the staff of the Institute of General Studies based on the wya she relates with both staff and students.

Meanwhile, the Deputy Registrar Information, Alhaji Moshood Tosho Amuda and Director of IGS, Dr. Felicia Awolola stressed that Olasehinde has written history that will linger for a long time.

They mentioned that her contributions to the development of the Polytechnic will not be forgotten in hurry.

Responding, the celebrant, Dr. Olasehinde attributed her success to the Will of God, stating that “it`s God that made it possible to have recorded all the good things people have been saying about me”.

She lauded the leadership style of the Rector for prompt payment of salary, development of physical infrastructure and provision of conducive environment for learning.
